If you check out the Sega (http://www.seganerds.com/sega.com) main site, you’ll notice a new addition - a poll asking people what Sega game/character you want to see make a return to glory.

I really want to see Shinobi return... I hated Nightshade, but absolutely loved the original PS2 game. Also, Shinobi III is the best genesis game.

streets of rage would be my choice. i couldnt stop playing streets of rage 2. that was one of my favorite Sega games of all time...Nights would be bad ass too. so would Shinobi.

Whatever they decide, they will just put out a bastardized version of the game. A new Shinobi game will be a first person platformer. A new Vectorman game will end up being a MMORPG.

AND WHY THE HELL IS FLICKY ON OF THEIR POLL OPTIONS? NOBODY GIVES A FUCK ABOUT FLICKY!

My choice isn't listed. I'd want to see a new Alex Kidd game.

This man is a genius and I agree with him 100%.

Shinobi for the win!

Shining Force in it's orignal Strat/RPG form. Ex. SF1,2, and 3.

Really? I thought they played almost exactly the same.

I never played Samba de Amigo on the DC, but I think with the Wiimote and the nunchuks it'd be a good game for the Wii. :)

I'm not really sure which to vote for probably Samba de Amigo or Nights.

The gameplay in Nightshade was similar, but the levels were far, far worse. Far too many deaths resulted from the camera being in the complete wrong spot or the lock on system essentially getting you killed through it's indecisiveness.

I would vote for Panzer Dragoon Saga, but the game did poorly in Japan and the original team disbanded. As for Shining Force, dont think they will ever get Camelot back. Going to give my vote to Astal, a high quality 2d game with be enough for me

I want Sega's racing games back. Daytona with the original Three Seven Speedway and Touring Car with Grunwald Circuit. They're supposedly working on a new Rally, aren't they?

voted for streets of rage. but theyd mess it up, try to make it fancy 3d with rpg elements or something, instead of a straight old school brawler.

Not there, but a Master System gem called Spellcaster

GAIN.

FUCKING.

GROUND.

The Gain Ground remake on PS2 was awesome, but I was MOAR. It could make a great DS game, I just realized.

And Shenmue III, please. Leaving the series unfinished like Sega has done is truly and terribly cruel, even inhumane, to the fans. At this point, I'll settle for anything. It doesn't even have to be a game. Shit, I'd take a novel or comic book, just some sort of closure on the whole thing.

But out of the ones on the list, well, for me, it's a toss-up between Streets of Rage and Nights. Either would be jizz-inducing.

They're working on Sega Rally Revo for PS3, 360, and PC. It's supposed to be pretty incredible.

How about a real Sonic 3 sequel? I know Sonic & Crackers (presumably Sonic 4 beta) turned into Knuckles Chaotix... and there are 2D Sonics for GBA and NDS. They're pretty good but I want a real sequel, with some of the Sonic 2 beta levels rewritten... a complete game for the hardcore 2D Sonic fans.

Every game I could think of, with the exception of a few, would get tarnished and ruined like Vectorman.

Yes, Sega Racing Studio is working on a new Sega Rally title.

But I've also heard they're developing an Xbox 360 game tentatively titled Storm Chaser. The twist is that giant tornados throughout the race help determine who wins and who loses.

This is still a rumor, and Sega of America told me they haven't heard anything about it, but we're following up with Sega Racing Studio themselves to see what they have cooking.

...Sonic Rush?

Sonic Rush was good. Probably my favorite Sonic game besides the Genesis/Sega CD ones. But, I still want a real Sonic 3 sequel. Done in the same style and everything.

Really? I thought they played almost exactly the same.Nightshade was HELLA EASY compared to Shinobi.

like, u usually hear about ppl who play games, but they're too hard so they give up.

That game was so easy I gave up, then sold it to ebgames for a DS Lite~!!

they added a mother freakin kick button which only served to tone down the difficulty about fifteen notches!!

anyway, Sega needs to bring back Kid Chameleon,

as long as they forget to include a save feature.

becoz if u can save your progress, then it aint no Kid Chameleon

I voted Nights. I figure they could do something kind of artistic with a remake and maybe reclaim the fantasy and wonder of the original. Surprised it's never been ported to PSP, honestly.

I'd like Phantasy Star V myself, or even better, an original RPG from Overworks.

Streets Of Rage by Far. I still play SoR2 on my genesis from time to time.

I can't beleive it isn't listed but I'd like to see Choplifter make a comeback...also a sequel to Miracle Warriors: Seal of the Dark Lord. It was the first RPG I ever completed for the Sega Master System.
