This money doesn't have to be spent by any means. But if it is going to be spent, it's going to be on games. I had briefly thought about putting it towards a Wii, but it sounds like a lot of that luster has already gone for various reasons.

My other thought was to stock up on a few games I missed out on, like God of War, Guitar Hero 2, R&C Size Matters, etc.

And then my last thought was to avoid the $90 price tag of 360 GH2 and pick up a real acoustic guitar for a couple bucks more and get something like Crackdown. Thoughts?

Ok Oprah.

You have $200 to piss away? I say why not GH2 for 360. The DLC should be pretty badass after you finish the other songs.

Not exactly, but the bills are already covered. I got some extra money for this and last month. Problem is though, I already have a backlog of 360 games and I can't seem to get rid of my older systems and games on here.

$90 just seems like a shitload to blow on one game, and how many points are the DLCs going to be?

Not sure how much the DLC would be, but I was under the impression that these excess funds were to be blown. Also a 360 backlog sucks and adding a game to your collection that will eat your time doesn't sound like it will help the backlog. I will also check your TL and see if I can't donate to your fund.

EDIT: Your SNES Bundle makes me wish I had more money.

Oh, it's quite tempting. However, I've been trying to teach myself real guitar for ten years now, poorly. I don't have an amp for my Strat, and my current acoustic (60s era) is in irrepairable condition - bridge coming off body. I just wonder if I would get more enjoyment out of the real thing.

save it for guitar hero 2 on the 360. But if you haven't played crackdown or gears of war yet those games are pretty good and you may want to consider picking them up.

God of war 2 also comes out next week.

start with God of War first. $15 at best buy after coupon. You probably get more value for your money with this purchase.

Definitely recommend picking up GH (1 and/or 2). Doesn't matter whether you get it for PS2 or 360, although I'm lead to believe that the 360 version is superior due to new sons and such. Personally, I would pick up the bundle for 2 on the PS2 and then grab the game only for the first one for like $25-$30 off ebay or the trading forum or something.

I'd save it, or spend it on computer components.

I wish I had $200 to blow! Go to EB/GS and buy a shitton of $5-$10 used games, only ones complete and in great condition though. Easy way to boost your overall library!

Also, buying 20+ games at one time makes you feel like a real man! ROFL

if you're single and trying to pick up women, it's hard not to feel a bit awkward when you bring one home and she sees your massive, bulbous....game collection
