Oh, this is the sweetest of all deals, at least as far as gaming goes. I was hired to "Gamers" today, a gaming store. I now get free or greatly discounted games, and I can check any game out overnight for free at anytime. And I get paid to talk about games. Hells yes...oh, and it pays 8.00/hr. Sweet.

Gamers is the home of Di Gi Charat!! :-)
Free games as in "stolen" games?
My b/f used to work at a games store, and he'd occasionally get a free game from the reps (always something 1st party), but that's cuz he was in charge. He got lots of free demos though.

are the games you checked out just the used ones, or new ones too?
and are they sold as new once you return them?
Des Moines has a "Gamers".

I'm envious. I applied at a bunch of game stores, but all of them were small and didn't have room for any new people.

if thats a serious question, no.

Congrats on the new job! I'm definitely jealous as hell. I applied to like 3 game stores and nothing ...

A complete sentence and proper grammar might help if it's a formal resume.

Working at a gaming store would be awesome, but I'm afraid I'd spend too much money on the discounted games and be in the same situation I'm in now - not much money and too many games.

Can you hook me up with a job? :D
...oh yeah and they'd have to be willing to hire 14 year olds. Well i'm turning 15 next month and look like 18 so on second thought just hook me up :)

sometimes we sell used games at where i work. i get 25% off anything used, and we never price anything more than $15, which means i can get new releases for 11.25 (plus tax) if they are traded in. and i can "rent" the games as long as need be, if i don't want to buy them.
oh well.
