Looks good but the music sounds 13 years old.

It is. It's a remix of the dungeon music from the beginning of LttP on SNES

Yay for 2D style gameplay

Graphics look amazing... I guess they are still using the stylus based control system.

I hate the control system they're using. I don't want stylus control in my damn Zelda games! At the very least, we should be able to use the DPad for walking.

This looks great. I'm excited to see how the stylus gameplay works.

Looks pretty damn amazing to me. This game will be the reason I stay alive till 2008.

damn comparable to the gamecube at times!

i wonder if they'll use the voice capabilities?

remember how in the japanese famicom version of the first zelda you would BLOW into the controller to destroy Pol's Voice? That would be neat if the innovation came full circle into this game!

The graphics are insaneeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

And classic Zelda gameplay? Fuck yeah! As long as they minimize the sailing (which caused me to quit playing wind waker)

Looks good - how can you tell that they are still using the stylus to move around? The map up top in dungeons will be sweet - hopefully they use 2 screens for bosses though.

Well, I can tell because Aonuma has said it a number of times. He and Miyamoto have both said that Twilight Princess will be the last traditional style Zelda.

And from last year's GDC video, there was a boss using both screens, which looks pretty sweet.

Looks awesome, but I just wished they used a different type of graphics.

Oh, and does this really come out in '08? I hope not :-(

Thats not to say thats it the ONLY POSSIBLE control scheme(unless it has been said, of course) Lots of games have had dual stylus or pad controls.

One notable exception is Starfox: Command whose stylus control scheme has made it really difficulty for me to get into. There's also the fuel budget, but that's another issue.

I'm pretty sure it will be stylus control only. Most people who played the E3 2006 build said it worked very well.

Looks amazing, some of the best graphics on DS without a doubt.

Blend of 2D and 3D gameplay FTW also.

is it still all stylus controlled? because i dont know about that...

maybe there might be alternate controls so you dont have to use only the stylus

I dunno man, in that multiplayer video the controls looked really intuitive. I'd even say it looked easier than using the d-pad.

I guess it couldn't hurt to include more control schemes but I think this'll rock either way.

That music is seriously nostalgic, is it going to be in the game?

I'm so excited for this. I really can't get into the 3D Zelda titles. I try, I really do, but they always end up back on the shelf after three or four hours. I played Minish Cap almost non-stop when I got it, while Twilight Princess got about 2:30 of playtime and hasn't touched my Wii since.

There are just tons of awful, tasteless jokes waiting to be made there ...:-k

Anyway, I can't wait for this one--I had forgotten how much I loved Zelda games until I finally got a hold of Minish Cap, which I'm playing through now. Might actually buy this right away, as opposed to waiting for months like I almost always do.

Nice to see some more info on this. I'm glad to see the Wind Waker style being used again. I loved TP and all, but I really loved Wind Waker's stylings.

I'm hoping this sees a Holiday 07 release, but good heavens is that going to be a rough time. Zelda:PH, Halo 3, Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros Brawl (?)... luckily I have parents that don't have a problem buying games for their 25 year old son ;)

Agreed. I don't like it when I can't see the screen. Tough to do like in one of the Peach minigames, it's hard to see the entire screen when you're only mode of movement is the stylus. Maybe that just might be a function of the smaller stylus. Haven't tried my extending stylus on those movement heavy games yet.

Is that bad? The Hyrule Castle theme is my favorite Zelda song out of all the Zeldas I've ever played.

You and I are a minority my friend. Ive played through WW alteast 4 times and have yet to finish Twilight Princess...I am 30 hours in (just beat the temple with the statues that I can control) and have not picked it up since (December).

I loved Wind Waker, and really enjoyed the graphic style. I'm happy to see it continue on.
