Strangely enough, I noticed this, Beyond Good & Evil and Game Boy Players popping up right after GameStop acquired Rhino. Definately not bad for $11.99. Especially considering how it's not easy to come across.

gamestop got couple of price drop on used games most notiable is those gba games,looks like they are phasing them out.Many of them are backorder,so use store locator.Looks like suikoden v,disgaea and valkyrie profile 2 droped in price as well.It's great for those buy 2 get 1 free sale if that will happen any time soon?

Could have bought it for $20 new a year ago at Wal-Mart, but passed it up despite my friend telling me otherwise.
Sure, I can find it now...for like $50 or so at Game Trader, and in abysmal condition to boot.
I couldn't find any at GS, Babbage's, or EB, and I don't have a Rhino's anywhere near, which leads me to my question... did Rhino send out games across the country, or did local stores just give to local GSs, Babbage's, etc?

I bought it years ago for under $10 dollars at a local game shop, but its still not a bad price. It is a great game, so it is worth the money. I've never played the first one though..

I didn't know this was rare. I went to Gamestop and bought it the other day from the discount bin thing, the sticker said Jak and Daxter and they didn't notice so I got charged $6.99. I'm glad I didn't say anything.

lol Nice one. It's only rare because the game's no longer in print and hasn't been for a good while. So finding one new in stores right now is pretty much unlikely.

i picked a copy of this up at a gamestop a few months ago for 14.99, i was pretty happy just to have found it, and i wasn't dissapointed.

Skies of Arcadia was $24.99 at GS/EB. It's $7.99 at Game Crazy (god bless america I found a complete copy). It was going for $25-ish on ebay but this might bring that down a bit.
God I hope new copies of Riviera will be $14.99 in store ::crosses fingers::

Childish looks aside, Billy Hatcher's a great platformer for the Cube. Some of the puzzles are rather challenging.
And SoAL was $24.99 before. Dropped to $19.99. Hopefully once GameCube games are being phased out, GameStop'll drop more prices and offer deals to get rid of extra inventory.

Klonoa 2 is really a great platformer (bought it complete on ebay for $10-15 about 3-4 years ago) . . . really enjoyable if you like 2D old-school platformers (and can stomach cute). Klonoa puts nice 3-D elements into the design (Wario World did this as well on the Cube)
I have a mint complete copy of the PS1 Klonoa (picked up cheap from the old EBGames morning update almost 2 years ago but haven't played it--really should get to it.

I got the guide from GS for $2 back when they used to carry used guides . . . that gave me a reason to go into the store -- which I now lack.

Those were the days. I remember when GS stopped accepting guides as trade-ins. I racked up on guides. That's where I found a mint condition Rygar guide for $1. As Borat would say "Great Success".

You really should, the original is a lot better than the sequel. 2 is a good game and all but the original IMO is a true classic.

Does anyone here have the first Klonoa that they would be willing to trade or sell? I would really like to play this game.
Also, I stopped by my GS today, but they didn't have Klonoa 2 in stock. :cry:
