You do not sign up just to offers just to cancel it. That is fraud and if found, your account will be put on hold. Talking about this, and encouraging others to do the same will also put your account on hold (read the freebie site's terms of service).

If you choose to not continue, then its ok. However, do show legitimate interest in the offer or it will be considered fraud. For example, illegitimate interest would be a case where you choose to cancel immediately after getting credit.

p.s. Don't discuss about this stuff in public as its frowned upon/not allowed in some places.

You NEED to put anywhere asked. Just like you, the freebie site and the advertiser do not want to be scammed by people with fake info.

You got lucky when you didn't get caught on those sites.

Advertisers are mostly located in the US so they target US people most of the time. I'm Canadian too and it does suck when we don't have much of an offer choice. People, especially Canadians obviously, do referral based sites so they only have to do one offer and get people (usually from the US, if not your friends/family) and it makes things MUCH easier.

"going green" means you signed up on a site, did an offer, and got credit for it.
"going red" means your account got put on hold for some tos violation.
"going yellow" means the person signed up on the site and are pending doing an offer, or did an offer and are awaiting credit.

Bumping your age is just as wrong as putting fake info. Some sites allow you to be as young as 13 (check their tos). If it doesn't say the age, contact the admin to double check.

Please don't fake info, even your age. If you want to get gifts from cc sites, ask a parent to help. There are some non-cc sites too, that allow people as young as 13. I think the one I mentioned before allow 13yrs+.

What do you mean sign for it? When the package is received you mean? If so, it doesn't matter who signs for it, as long as it is signed. Sometimes a sig is not even required, they just leave it there or put it in your mailbox.

Did you sign up under another email? Try the "forgot password" form -- http://customorderthis.com/forgotpass.php -- and try all the emails you used. Did you ever happen to use a fake email awhile ago that you don't remember of? Talk to the admin and ask if it's ok to create a new account.

I guess they changed the rules now. I'm Canadian and I signed up a long time ago on that site. I guess they changed it now b/c Canadians don't have many offers to choose from, and perhaps even less for non-cc.

At Vbux you need to do an offer, unless you found one of their free green promos. Btw, thats a hard site to start with, especially for new people, so I wouldn't recommend it.

Never got junk calls or mail from offers. I research the offers before doing it and only do offers that I've heard good things about. For example, an offer I did a long time ago was Video Professor. It was only like $7-8 for shipping 3 cds (I learnt photoshop this way) and it was all great. I suppose Gaming Lagoon has only non-credit card offers... some of which look and sound more crazy than ones that have credit card offers? That's why I don't do non-cc sites (except for just one where they had a promo to get offer credit waived).

The sites I would recommend are the ones on the sites linked to in my sig. Most of them are from a network called Trainn, who are currently the best network around. Offers are great, and the referral amounts are the lowest. If you don't want to do it the referral way, they have the option for you to complete the site yourself (no referrals needed), just a couple of offers depending on your prize amount. So, take a look at that!

Not offering for free now. I got some sponsors who are paying 65%-75% of what they get, which is very appropriate as you don't do any work on your part (and have to deal with getting scammed/paypal disputes/etc.).

Yeah, I haven't checked in a4f since like at X'mas. I've been busy lately, especially with fixing my pc (had to back up a lot of data, format, start fresh, etc.) and I'm still not done. Might get a new comp so I had to research quite a bit into that too.

Anyways, about the site. I don't think PrizeShopper allows Canadians or the offers are that great. I'll have to look into it more. As for GS4F, I was checking out their offers and it seems fairly nice. It's just that is missing the all popular stamps ones. However, if I do go with that, I think I have a free green there already so I could technically just do the site myself, right? ;)

Yeah, I got many free greens pending to be used up on sites too. It's just that I never felt the need to utilize those as they will not do as well as Trainn.

I've done the FCA sites, and since they only pay about $35/ref or so still, they will not be put up. Cots is always on my site ever since I joined them, so they will be my secondary site. I may try S4N and GS4F sometime, but no plans in the near future. I think GRF doesn't allow Canadians, or if they do I prob missed out on a free green from them. Not too sure about RN.

PrizeShopper will be too hard, you're right. I had a difficult time getting something from 80.Macrobucks, and I had a lot of partials too.

So, to summarize, not likely to put up such sites right now. Even if I did, I could do those on my own. ;)

First of all, I would suggest aiming for a smaller gift, like an Ipod or Wii which cost like 5-6 referrals. I suppose you new to this stuff, so start of easy like most people.

Second, ask people you know... friends/family/relatives/girlfriend/coworkers/whoever. They're the best bet first. If they don't work, look around on the net, you'll get some.

I'm saying to start small so that once you get your freebie people (that you know personall) will believe you even more and will help you get bigger freebies.

Honestly, FreePay is one of the WORST freebie networks, along with OfferCentric.

They were the first network ever (called Gratis Internet then) with the first ever freebie site FreeiPods.com. Many people did get paid, but once they changed their name to FreePay everything went downhill. For one, the 90 day limit (or 120 in your case) screws many people close to finishing. Many people who HAVE cashed out claim to not have even gotten their gift.

It may seem like a lot for some, but for many it isn't much time when they find it harder to get refs. Remember, that deadline also means you need to get approved too. I think you still have to download, print, and send in an approval form. If your ref goes red, you have to find another, and do the approval process again. That takes time...

However, if you feel you're up to it, go ahead.

Wiis are becoming more available, of course, but it's still hard to get. When I asked a couple of days back they told me it will take about 3 weeks. That's for us Canadians. I suppose it's about the same, perhaps less, for the US members.

A couple of days, like 2-3. Sometimes people get it overnight. PS3s aren't hard to find.
