you know how you can buy it from website and they come on card, same applies for microsoft point, is it possible to but them from america for half the prices because there the same prices in dollars as they are in pounds, then just enter the code in the uk?

I'm not sure on live subscriptions, but definitely not on Microsoft Points. US codes don't work for Canada so they definitely won't work for the UK. Both my 12 month live codes are from the States but they worked for me in Canada.
