PSP Screen Scratches

Unfortunately, I have neglected to take care of my PSP screen by not buying a screen protector and now I regret it. Are there any cheapass ways of removing scratches to the PSP screen? I know I can buy a new faceplate for about 30 bucks on ebay, but I was hoping for something cheaper. Thanks fellow Cag's

i actually used car wax on mine and it did a little to lessen the scratches
