Im on the fence of getting an onyx ds lite. I want pokemon pearl and this is my main reason for getting it and i need a little push to make the jump for one. So somone convince me i should get it.

If that is the only game you want then I say its not worth it. I got rid of my DS because the only game even in the far future I wanted was Zelda, and it just wasnt worth keeping for one game imo.

If there are any other games that are out you are interested in then I say go for it.

The DS is easily the most fun I've had with any system, ever. Any gamer who doesn't have one (or at least who hasn't had one to play the games they want) should be ashamed of themselves.

Big mistake IMO...I bought a used fat DS last year and had Super Mario 64 as my only game...I loved it...but then I didn't play it. Then I bought Snood 2 out of desperation to have a different game, and it was cheap...it snowballed from there and I have acquired over 40 games in less than a year. This is a great handheld and since I never really got into portable gaming, I'd say it's more than worth it...especially if you have access to wi-fi as it's only going to get better from here!

Keep it, man. DS has had the best software releases of any platform over the past couple years. Just go to Gamerankings.com and check out the top DS games, there's literally dozens worth buying.

I agree with schuerm, if you're not playing the psp then just sell that and you should get enough to pay off the entire thing. If you still play the psp then don't sell it of course, but you just have to figure out what you're going to play more if you can't afford both. Here's a short list of awesome games that I've owned/own for the DS:

New Super Mario Bros.
Super Princess Peach
Castlevania: DoS and PoR
Mario Kart DS
Tetris DS
Yoshi's Island DS
Clubhouse Games
Sonic Rush

There are tons more, I must've played at least 40-50 games for it and almost all of them were AAA titles.

Not to mention the mountain of GBA games that kick ass (unless you already have a GBA, and if so you can sell it! :-P)
