okay heres todays! which is the better series, simpsons of family guy?

Damn that was a hard one. I said family guy cause all the episodes are funny and the simpsons have been slacken lately. But family guy only had 3 seasons and the simpons have 12? seasons.

Simpsons, yes the new simpsons isnt as good, but the old simpsons is better (just got season 4 today). Maybe Ill change my vote once the newer Family Guy seasons start up, but until then its the Simpsons.

Not many shows are better then the Simpson’s. I like the Family Guy (and watched almost every episode when they were on Fox and have watched the DVDs a few times) but the Simpson’s go beyond just random crude humor that the Family Guy strives on. I can watch old and new Simpson episodes over and over and get new lit/pop culture joke/reference all the time that I did not catch the first time I watched. The new seasons are still as witty as the old seasons they are just more played out since the show has been on the air for so long. Any show that has lasted as long as the Simpson’s deserves all the credit it can get.
Family Guy fan-nerds piss me off by comparing a show that was on the air for 2 ½ seasons to a show that has been on the air for way over 10 years and still kicking ass.

Simpsons is greater than any animated show ever, with the exception of South Park.

I know most simpsons episodes like the back of my hand and have most memorized (since they are always on right at dinner time)

I think Family Guy is funnier but I have a special place in my heart for the Simpsons.

Some people mentioned Futurama and South Park but I think Family Guy and Simpsons are the better of the group.
