does anyone know if this player plays SRT, SUB files along with AVI?

I have a creative zen vision m and I'm happy with it... but... I haven't seen any way to use srt or sub files. It would surprise me if you could since the player doesn't support ogg vorbis so I don't see why it would instead support some other open source file that has even less of a user base.
At the same time I might be horribly wrong and just haven't paid attention to the creative forums in a while.
