You really have to study how people sell their stuff. I have been using for a year and have found this basic logic.

CD's 5-12 SB, its not worth it to sell for any less
Common DVD's-10-20 SB depending on if the seller want to get rid of them quick
New Release DVD's 20-35 depending on rarity/special features ect.
Common PS2, GC, X-Box 10-25 SB- depending on seller
New Games, Next Gen Games 40-60 SB if not more due to covetedness
Season Box sets- 50-100 depending on Size and popularity.

Anybody that does much past this either gets rid of things slowly or not at all. Use the message feature to test people that you are unshure of and to bargain. Most people that if given a reasonable offer will lower prices and actually ship things if they respond. PM if you want any more tips, I am a top 25 overall switcher under the name CynicalAssault

Wow, I thought this site was completely dead, and instead, it changed it's URL from switchdiscs.com and is promoting it as environmentally friendly? I guess that's good...

The site has a decent premise, like Goozex, but it's ruined by greedy users who overvalue their games. I piled up a decent amount of points, but ended up overpaying for some stuff just to get rid of them. Maybe someone else had a better experience, but I think Goozex works better overall.

im saying that new people coming into this will see these prices and wont trade cause they think nothing will move. Be intersting to see how much of the trades are DVDS compair to games (did they start games on Day 1 or was it more of a DVD thing and added games)

They are giving people 25 free buxs but there are very few to any games you could get. Now compair that too gooxex offer where you will find alot more games .

It could be just your phone...see posts 87, 88, and others who all have T Mobile. We can't receive the texts, no matter how many times the code is requested.

It took 3 rounds of offers to actually use the 25 SB. Most of them declined then relisted for higher amount(007:AFU went from 6 SB to 20 SB, WTF?).

Got A Bug's Life(Ps1), Defender(Xbox), Nightmare on Elm Street 2(DVD) & Jak II(Ps2) after the 3 rounds.

That's exactly what I did. I wrote under Contact Us - they wrote back, verified the cell phone number was correct, I told them it was and they responded and said they would just credit me the 25 points.

My friend signed up a few hours ago, did the verify by phone. Waited a half-hour and no text(I was with him and didn't even hear the phone beep like it usually does). He contacted them about it and got the message about mailing them a copy of a ID. Seems like T-Mobile users are getting fucked.

The people that signed up with your referrals will show up in your account at the bottom of the page. Until they're verified, it'll show up as "referral pending". I have two referrals that people are sending xerox copies of their state IDs, since they didn't get the text and want the free SBs.

A part of the disc is pushed in, that's what I meant. It makes a skipping sound when being played.

Discs can be dented, I had a copy of FFVII that had a dent in disc 1. And cause of that, couldn't go pass Cosmo Canyon since it locked up on a FMV.

25 bucks is nothing. good luck finding anyone to do trades. hell i putting in 40 to 45 buck ds/psp games ands they still wont confirm the trade.

Apparently some people have been abusing the offers.

Man, I never even got to try the site out. I registered and couldn't get the $25 promotion because TMobile blocked their texts.

Oh well, time to delete my unused account or populate it with dummy data for abandonment.

You just need to figure out who to trade with. That promotion brought in a lot of noobs (myself included), and either because they don't trust the site, or they are looking to make killer profits, some of them price their items really high, and or don't accept trades.

The site is pretty cool, but again you need to find the good traders. I can recommend Tiddley Winks, Moviebuff, Sammy, and Switch_This! off top of my head.

And as far as sending out, I tend to only accept request from people who have a trade history, or have items up for trade, and have fair priced items. so if you have Gears of War for 80SB I won't accept your request. I don't want people getting my stuff on the cheap, and then relisting it with a much higher price. That's what is hurting that site now.


Anyway I hope this helps anyone who joined the site, but hasn't been able to take advantage of it yet.

Yeah, they stopped offering the free 25 SBs for verifying and the free 10 SB for referrals last week.

I wish someone would alter the OP, so that we won't have people asking about this.
