Hi,
I was hoping I could get some advice on what kind of display I should get for my gaming needs?
I have about $4-$500 and I'm looking for an LCD with connections for a 360 as well as one that can be used for PC gaming as well. I guess my main two options are a genuine LCD Monitor + tuner or an LCD TV with built-in tuner.
I've done a small bit of research and this is what I've come up with, please correct me if I'm wrong. Please keep in mind that I only have about $400 or 500 to spend.
LCD TV:
+Could get anywhere from 27" to 32"
+Usually has a lot of connections from composite to HDMI
+Has some sort of tuner (not even necessarily ATSC or QAM)
+Great for gaming
-Probably not name brand
-Resolution would probably make it bad as full-time PC monitor
LCD Monitor:
+Could probably get a smaller Dell monitor that is high-res
+Great for use as a PC monitor
+Higher quality than name brand (?)
-Unsure about connections
-Much smaller than LCD TV
-Need tuner
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
