I'm not sure how many covers there are for this game, but i have found these so far. are some or one considered more rare? i have a launch version: gold cover with link sailing imprinted slighlty in the backround. It is the same as the player's choice without the ugly yellow PC tag.

I've never seen that middle (colorful one) before. It is indeed the best IMHO.

Where is that from - the Japanese or European release? Or from the cover of a game guide for it?

ive got a different one, but thats because i have the windwaker/masterquest.

And wasn't the MasterQuest part of a different disc all together? Hundreds of thousands got the bonus disc.

Nintendo should have used the colorful one, that was the whole point of the game, crazy graphics.

yeah i guess its rare... i really just bought it because of masterquest, OoT was on of my fav. games when i was younger, and seeing it made me buy it, didnt realise it was rare until i looked for it on ebay and saw it selling for alot.

Why does it say...

"Only for Seulement Pour" in the corner?

I have no clue what that means but why is half in English and half in French? does Seulement Pour mean "Only for" in French?

The OoT/MQ + Wind Waker disc was packaged with GameCubes at Wal*Mart for a limited time.

yes that means ony for... and yeah i remember the master quest coming with GC for a bit

What region is the "colorful" one the cover for? I recognize it as the cover of the instruction booklet. Maybe it was just a mock-up? Sorta like this one:

for Mario Baseball that keeps turning up in CC and BB ads. I always have to think for a second about whether they made a quick sequel.

There're also those display images that Gamestop prints out for their prerelease games.

I've never seen the 2nd one...

3rd one was the same cover when I got the game at launch
and the 1st is just like my friend's copy who got it when it went down to $20

but whats with that 2nd one... :-s

It's a placeholder cover usually found at EB Games/GameStop.

Before the game was released, that was the display cover used to entice customers to reserve the game.

All of the covers except for the second one (that is a custom cover) are original Wind Waker covers.
