I played Timesplitters on the Wii, Gamecube games always played well and never frooze, but yesterday when i put the disc in, it took 2 seconds or more to get the disc in then usual, and suddenly the game frooze all the time, i put it in more times and turned off the power and whatever, but it freezes like every 10 min, it dont happen to any of the other Gamecube games or the Wii games, but it does so only with the Timesplitters game.

I dont mind since i played that game to death, and it freezes only on that game, but what a fuck, can the machine regonize that game....and only freze on that one?

Maybe. I'm not informed on the Wii hardware/firmware (ask Strell) but I think it uses a blend of emulation and hardware to play GC games.

Meaning lulz will ensue.

Is the disc scratched at all? The Wii seems to be a lot less forgiving of scratched discs than the Cube was.

Somebody needs to find (and use) the period key. That op rambles on longer than a fifth grader off his ritalin.

Maybe the period key is just froozen.

He's from Norway, so English is his second language. Given that, he's doing pretty good, I'd say, and I feel bad about mocking him earlier, although I can't resist it when munch is gettin' all silly like that.

Anyway, I've actually never played a 'Cube game on my Wii. Yet another of my short shameful secrets.

Naw, when it boots to GC mode, it's essentially a GC. There's no software emulation going on.

If there was, the Wii honestly couldn't handle it in terms of outright power. This is what also prevents you from being able to do things like exitting the GC game back to the Wii menus.

It's probably your disc, OP. You should try out another copy and see if the same thing happens.
