ZUMA help, level 8-4 killing me...

Any advice on how to beat level 8-4 in Zuma adventure mode? I've tried setting up chains and also speed and a mix but I just can get close but not finish this damn level. Most people here are probably well past it and haven't touched it for awhile. Are any levels that stick out as a hard one to get past? This is the one holding me up.

Hey, I'm working on Zuma too. 8-4 was very tough and I've only beaten it twice. The only advice I will give is don't make mistakes and shoot fast. You'll get lucky eventually. I'm stuck on 9-3 and I don't think I will ever beat the 9's. It gets way too hard.

9's were so tough to me... I tried for weeks

and then one night I beat level 9, 10, and got to the last stage of 11 all on 2 lives.

still haven't beaten the whole thing, i can get to the very last stage and then its fail.

As with all levels, get the coins when you can - fastest way to get "zuma".

I don't recall 8-4 specifically, but I probably poured 40+ hours into Zuma back in the day(I love me some Zuma). Coins and gap shooting are the keys to victory. Setting up chains also help but not as much as those.

IIRC, once you get past 8-4, things let up until 9. 9 is a nightmare but 10 & 11 were a breeze, and then 12 hits you in the face with a hammer. 9 & 12 are the hardest levels in the game.

yeah, I'm on 12... I thought it was 11.... 10 and 11 were very easy for some reason.

Man, was one of my most played games I own. Haven't touched it in awhile as I was stuck somewhere in adventure mode but now I'm gonna bring it up and try and tackle it again. Was there ever any mention of a possile Zuma sequel? Would love new levels and multiplayer!

Went back and yep, it was 8-4 I was stuck on. I think I passed it once but failed on the next one so I didn't make it to level 9. Krrruuuuunnnkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
