Gamerush deal

Here's another deal that I think just started at Game Rush.

Trade in any game, get a brand new games for $30. Now you may say to yourself whats the big deal, but the guy said, it's ANY game as long as they carry it. So even if you have an old NES or SNES game, they will take it and let you have a new games for $30. Also, if all else fails, you can buy a $7 used game, trade it back in, and get a new games for $30 thus saving you at least $13.

I just traded a game 2 days ago and I was told that deal ended at the end of last month. Now the deal was trade any ps2, GC, or xbox game and get a 49.99 game for 39.99

It has to be a next gen trade-in, no old school trades.

AND, they've put a limit on the trade 3, get a PO game for 9.99.
Limit 2 trades per account for this deal, fuckers!

Maybe it varies from store to store. Some are putting limits some arent.

However, this deal, he said it himself, the store manager "Any kind of system we carry, you can trade in that game and get a new games for $30" That means NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and GC games. I guess call first.

That is definitely YMMV. At my GR, the only restriction is that you cannot trade in a game that you bought the same day. The manager is fully aware of how people abuse the deal, but it doesn't sound like he has any intention of restricting or terminating it.

they always run that trade 1 get new for $39.99, the$29.99 did end but will be back, and they also were given a minimum of $10 for any GBA game(trade 5 craptacular GBA games=free new Xbox game) but that ended too but will be looking for it , let you know when it comes around again!!

Why in the hell do we have one gigantico Game Rush thread.. but we don't have a "all EBGames deals" or "all BB deals" thread? If there's a new deal out it deserves it's own thread. I don't look at that craptacularly long gamerush thread.. so I appreciate seeing this on its lonesome.

As maker of said gamerush thread...please, if there's an update, make a topic. If anything we can just keep laughing at the people who dont have one (...because they keep laughing that we dont have a Fry's :P )

also, ALL the deals vary by store. i have 1 store (novi) that still does the 29.99 bit, while another store (wixom) only does 39.99. Also, in the way the deal was made, it is in fact any system they carry that you can trade games in for, unfortunately not all stores can read good (yes, i know what the sign says, doesnt matter)

I'm cool with a new thread for a NEW deal... but when it is apparent that these deals are heavy hold overs and YMMV at that, it gets beyond redundant. Case in point, the threads quickly disintegrate into a post about how "I don't have a GR" or something else repeated over the in the Gamerush deals thread.
