It looks to me like there was a professional paintjob applied to it. I remember seeing some website article about customized colors being applied to PS2 systems.

It's actually said to be a Ratchet and Clank PS2 from Toys R Us.

Ive never seen that color ps2 before. I didnt know TRU had a Ratchet & Clank special edition. And I pay attention to these kinds of things!
That color must have been extremely limited. Your best bet would probably be ebay.
