Just making sure. I can't remember whether or not the scheduled down time was supposed to take place now or not. Actually, that would make sense why I can't connect to Live when I was fine before since my connection isn't down or anything

I actually just got another 100 achievement points and my sig hasn't updated yet. I'm nearly done with the Rewards. Contra here I come!
Does anyone know if this downtime is because they are working on another large console update? When did the last big update take place?

It's not a dashboard update. It's some behind the scenes work going on right now. The next dashboard update is at end of spring/beginning of summer.

Between the upcoming Halo beta, the ShadowRun beta, the recent security breach (or whatever), and big name games coming out soon (Forza, Mass Effect, etc), it's probably a stress test.
It's funny, the one day I don't have work or school.. Live goes down for maintenance.

They never said three hours. 12AM to 2PM Pacific Time is what they said, meaning it should be on around 4pm CST/5pm CST. Dunno where you got the three hour idea from.

But, apparently there are supposed to be huge announcements tonight and tomorrow night, so that makes up for it.
