Xbox 360 Vertically

Considering buying a 360, only problem is don't know where to put it in my room if it's horizontal. However, if I have it vertical, I could find a spot for it much more easily. Anyone have their 360 vertically? and if so, any problems with it?

Mine had to be vertical due to my new PS3 and I have had no issues.

Ive had mine vertical for a while before I had a shelf for it. No problems at all.

Now I have it horizontal and still have no problems.

I've been wondering this for some time. Obviously, Sony and Microsoft(and now Nintendo) have done some kind of work on their disc readers to aid in their spinning vertically, but doesn't that place a little extra burden on the motor?

I mean, sure you have no problems with it now, but I had no problems with leaving my PS2 on for weeks at a time for a good 5 years at least(sometimes in places with poor ventilation). Now it's dead, but I think that's to be expected, given what I did to it.

Vertical since I bought it. My old one died, but that was because of a bad dashboard update. Replacement box remains vertical.

i dont know why these always pop up. it always leads to people saying "i have mine this way, and no problems."

the damn thing was designed to go either way. just set it up and play.
