I'm guess it's a good thing they finally are going to appear in one game together, but a game based on the Olympics? We'll just have to see.

The best thing that could come out of this is that it's a lot more believable for Sonic and crew to appear in SSBB now.

Wouldn't the Sonic team be better at most of the events? Sonics got the speed for the running events. Knuckles can glide which pretty much gives him the long jump. Tails would be able to take the high jump (and long jump) if he is allowed to fly (which I know he wont (just saying)). Shadow had a gun for some reason in his last game, so he should own all of the shooting events.

I would give all of the swimming events to Mario's crew though since they are the only ones able to swim. And the high jump (as I said before if Tails cannot fly).

It will all come down to the gymnastic competition. Who can do an iron cross? Who can stick their dismount? I guess we will find out soon.

Well thanks to Matt's blog at IGN, I am under the suspicion that this is an online enabled game. "It is, when you break it down, Wii Sports + Olympics + Mario + Sonic + online. What the hell is not to like about that?":) Makes me more excited.

It was confirmed that the game will have some online functionality. What that is, we don't know at this point, though.

NOT AN APRIL FOOLS! I was in Gamestop the other day and an associate pointed it out to me on their Coming Soon game print out! He said he thought it was an April Fools as well until he saw the list! WOO HOO!
