Figuire its 360 related since its based on a 360 game. Will be intresting to see if this generates more hype for the 360 in Japan.

So how many people here will check it out when it airs next month in japan, and how many are scratching their heads right now thinking "Theres a blue dragon anime?"

51 episode series, not bad. Question is will it be a retelling of the story or will it just take place in the same setting as the game? Hopefully its the latter.

Don't have ANY info on it but it looks to have a good crew.

The director did GetBackers, one of the Hunter X Hunter OVA's.

The original concept for the anime is from the person who CREATED Final Fantasy games so you can bet theres going to a pretty good story.

Studio Pierrot the company producing it is EXTREMELY talented. They've done anime such as

Ghost in the Shell SAAC Movie
GTO
Naruto
Twelve Kingdoms
etc
