View Full Version : 360 headset doesn't work anymore, will they send me a new one?

I'm still under warranty, I haven't done anything to the headset, never stepped on it, etc, it just suddenly won't work.
Have any of you called them up and gotten a new one? Should I try?

ive had the same experience im on my fourth 360 headset. never tried calling

A friend had 2 replaced free of charge in warranty. Yes, call up.

I've honestly never thought of this. Since the original xbox I went through about 4 headsets, and have already had to replace my 360 one. If this one goes out though I am calling them fo' sho.

people actually use the headsets it came with? get the $10 adapter and you can plug ANY headsey into it.....or do like me and have someone buy you the wireless headset!

Yeah, the headsets for both the Xbox and 360 are pretty shitty, but the one that came with my premium is still working....i think.

i honestly dont know how i keep breaking them but ive broken 4 wired headsets, for some reason about a month ago they mysteriosly sent me a free wireless headset, but no charger.
after my last one went (last week) i called them up and they sent me(for free) 3 wired headsets, a batterpack and a charger for my wireless.
they sent me a free controller once too.
ive never had a problem with MS customer support

I am on phone w/ them right now..MAKE SURE to say to "Max" the automated voice machine that you want to talk to a real person
EDIT: Done, took about 5 minutes, she asked me if I tried all the ways of cleaning, etc the headset (that took the longest) then I registered my 360 (which I guess I didn't do) and eventually she said since it's under warranty they'll send me a new one.
Wasn't too bad. She talked really fast though :)
