This isn't going to tell us much. It's only gonna show that people with broken consoles are more willing to fill out surveys in order to express their dissatisfaction than people with working consoles.

after the recent, xbox live pretexting or whatever went on, i'd be hesitant to give out any xbl especially to another useless online survey trying to do the impossible.

Exactly. A poll is worthless. You can't get any significant statistical data from a self selected sample.

If you were going to do this "poll" correctly, what you would have to do is, find all the registered Xbox 360 owneres otu there, then take a selection and ask them if their console is working, etc. Probably ask a total of 5-6 questions.

Even that would have some error, but it would be better than this. Let's be honest, 56% does not pass the sniff test. On average then, the average 360 owner would have had at least 2 360's. If that happened, would anyone buy them?

With the warrently, Microsoft would be losing their ass here.

This poll is biased! It's a voluntary response...they should just randomly select 1000 Xbox 360 owners and FORCE them to vote, then it'd be better XD

Yeah, I didn't look at it before since knowing it was self-selected was enough to make it garbage. I just read it and it is biased. They're setting out to "prove" that there is a high failure rate. Nothing about this holds any weight at all.

My launch 360 is still kickin... has frozen on me exactly twice, which is way less than my Genesis, PS1 or Dreamcast ever did.
