I found this interesting: http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=dushopp ing&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=50. The entire 'store' seems to be composed of Circuit City clearance games... probably that lady you all have been complaining about!

Whoever it is, they even know which games people want and which ones they don't.

You mean the fat lady I've heard about with the 3 shopping carts?

Must resist... must not buy....

What even makes it worse it in some of their auction titles they say low shipping but shipping is $4.95!

$4.95 is actually low shipping if they ship First Class. ebay fees, paypal fees and then shipping fees... it all adds up.

Granted, Media mail is the lowest...

Those prices are kinda ridiculous, especially when you figure in shipping. All Circuit City prices aside, take a game like Wild Arms 3 which she has listed for like $15.. You can easily find this game at many online stores for less than that, even $10 shipped.

For one video game? No its not. Its rediculous. 1st class costs at most $3.85. For one videogame with case it should be less.

ebay fees, paypal fees and then shipping fees... it all adds up.

The fees the seller pays are supposed to be included in the price of the item, i.e. the bid. Its not supposed to be thrown together into "shipping" to decieve people into thinking its a lower price than it is. I wish ebay would crack down on this crap.

If I'm not mistaken, those fees can be lumped into "handling."

i charge $5 flat rate shipping and handling on ebay....ill break it down for you (estimates, not sure exact amounts, but its close by pennies)

packaging: $00.61
first class: $02.50
dc#: $00.51
total so far: $03.62

the rest can take care of some of my fees and the gas to and from the post office, as well as my the time it takes to package and ship ;o)

if anyone has a problem with that, they can simply bid somewhere else....i really dont see the problem with $5 s & h....and i really dont see the problem in any high dollar s & h either (i just wont bid on it)....i just hate it when the s & h isn't listed in the auction

also....brand new R.A.D. for $19.95 plus the $5 s & h isnt that bad....i once remember cheapy showing us a "really cheap" auction for a used R.A.D. not too long ago that was going for the mid $30s (not to mention s&h)

my pricing scale is a bit diffrent:

packaging $0.07 (5 cents for envelope, 2 for tape, lol)
first class shipping (on a single dvd or normal cd case $1.52
i only get dc or insurance if its requested, obviously insurance is extra.

total $1.59

Most of the time I only charge what it cost me, a big cut in cost was simply buying the packaging envelopes off ebay , got 100 game sized ones for about 25 or 30 bucks after shipping. But charging 5 for shipping on one game is always a turn off to me, I usually bid on other auctions when I see that.

Thats pretty much what my total usually comes to when i ship Ebay games. i charge $2 for shipping and handling. I would rather lose money on shipping than to overcharge someone.

Yeah, I second the $20 RAD. If I didn't already have one...

I also thought the $20 Frequency was pretty funny. I mean, you can find that for $5 outside the CC deal!
