Does anyone know where I can get an xbox 360 wireless network adapter for under $40, i would only use it at friends houses and maybe my house, it is way too expensive.

You probably wont get the official network adapter for less then $70. Use the search function and there are a bunch of threads with alternative suggestions on the cheap.

Surplus computers had a Linksys Wireless B gaming adapter that works with the xbox. For several weeks it was $19.99 free ship but now it is gone. It is kinda expensive elsewhere...you can try amazon.com 3rd parties or ebay http://www.amazon.com/Linksys-WGA11B-Wireless-B-Game-Adapter/dp/B0000AJVBW
Or you could try to buy the Logitech Play Link but they are only rated at 1.0mbps. It works fine for gaming but downloading is fairly slow.

i no the other solutions are cheaper but the microsoft one is really easy to set up and i don't feel like setting up a new connection everytime i go out.
