Wii's are pretty game starved and CC probably only got a case which is four copies. Their ad says you get the giftcard if they don't get it in by a certain time nothing about if they sell out of the games.

The ad said the store would recieve the game by 2:00pm or you'll get a gift card. It didn't say if you don't get the game by 2:00pm.....
I know people understand this and are just trying to get something for nothing. And are also complaining for nothing.

Yep, if people would actually READ the ad they would have know that. There is a difference between what time they have the game available at and it selling out. I am not a CC fan (hell I hate my local CC), but to complain about this is just stupid.

Not a deal ... I didn't expect anyone to get this 'deal' anyways.

Didn't the ad say "gauranteed in store by 2 PM or get a gift card" ?
If it did and it's not in the store at 2 PM, then I could see how someone could effectively argue that.
Then it's CC's fault for not wording it better.

Every time an ad goes out by any large store, it goes through a team of lawyers first. I think they would disagree with you.

And I think a team of linguistic assholes - who live to screw with things like this - would disagree with them. And several lawsuits of such variety have played out to extreme conclusions in the legal system proper, and the results tend to be surprising.
I'm not saying either way, but I could see the argument going on for a while.
