The only reason I'd pick this up is if I could sell it for more than I bought it for at Gamestop. Otherwise, the demo was hideous, and people say the full game is even worse.

Heck, the Wii Sonic is supposed to be hideous according to Game Informer, and IT'S better than this.

The 360 version is better of the two. I have the 360 one, and my coworker has the PS3 one, so I played both. This game is overpriced though. It needs to be between $15 and $20 (or less).

The game isn't as bad as the reviews, but don't expect anything great. It's ok for a play through if you're bored. The achievements are lame. It's too bad they screwed up this series and didn't stick to the Sonic Adventure formula or make it like the Wii version that is much better.

I just got it yesterday from Gameznflix yesterday, I'm sending it back today.

It's just full of stupid problems.

The loading thing>
I go up to talk to an old man in a city full of humans(yeah, Sonic's a blue cartoon hedgehog and no one seems weirded out by that). He says "test out my new shoes". Then comes a minute long loading screen. Next comes up the old man telling me if his shoes work good I will be able to make the course fast enough. BAM, another minute long loading screen. The course takes me about a minute. THEN, another minute long loading screen, another 8 second talk with the old man, and ANOTHER minute long loading screen. It's like that everytime you do anything.

It has a bunch of other bad things about it in my eyes, and the game is just a mess. I don't think I would buy it for more than 10 bucks, but do what you guys want.

Minigames aren't required besides a couple to get you to a new area of the town so you can access a level.

Just don't do the minigames and the real game is pretty enjoyable...at least I thought so :-P

2. I actually liked it. In a game like Shadow, the homing attack was fast, but the hit detection was crap so you ended up dying because of it. I've never died once because the homing attack in the new Sonic.
3. Don't play as Tails very much so it really doesn't matter, and the times you do you really shouldn't be using him to fight in the first place.
4. The town parts were stupid, yes. Should have just been like Sonic Adventure 2 or Sonic Heroes.
5. Seems to have about the same amount as say...Sonic Adventure 1. They levels are just reused with all 3 characters..you just play the levels in different ways.
6. Camera angles didn't kill the game for me. Same as in any other 3D Sonic.
7. I thought most of the bosses were pretty cool. Catching a giant lava rock with Silver that is as big as the whole screen then throwing it back at the boss was pretty awesome IMO.
8. Loading times annoying, yes.
9. Personal preference...not really a big deal.

11. Not sure what he's talking about. Best looking 3D Sonic game easily.

I don't even know why I cared enough to write that all out...I guess I just really like this game due to it's pick up and play for a few minutes style (once you unlock being able to pick whichever level you want that is) :-P

They would have made Sonic Adventures look more realistic if they had the ability too. They are just able to on this one because the 360/PS3 are powerful enough. And that they completely updated the graphics. The characters and levels easily look the best out of all 3D Sonic games.

I dont see how the town in the new Sonic is any different than Station Square from SA1.
