God Of War 2 SD-HD

Over at game trailers they have a comparison video of god of war 2. The sd compared to the hd version. And in captions it says we punch in the code and take a look at the graphical difference. The hd version there talking of is god 2 being played on ps3? If so what do they mean they punched in the code?

Apparently there's a code to go into 480p mode.

Not sure if I am completely missing the boat here, but don't you just go into the options menu and select "progressive scan?" I think it is only 480P, but that migh qualify as HD to some.

It works on both PS2 and PS3. Basically, it's a more enhanced resolution than straight 480p that looks a little better on my CRT HDTV.
