Can I use any USB to Ethernet converter to conenct a Wii online

this question is directed at PC USB to Ethernet converters which are considerably less than the ones at EBgames.

Doesn anyone know if they will work or do the NIntendo and Datel ones have something the PC ones dont?

You'll have to get one designed for the Wii. Before any of the adapters came out there was one that Newegg had that worked with the Wii, but after people found out and Newegg sold out they got in new ones that didn't work with the Wii. Sorry.
