Yeah, hopefully stores will be getting more copies of Guilty Gear Judgment in time for the sale. I haven't seen it anywhere in months, so I couldn't even price match it if I wanted to. Sometimes there's that hard-to-find game that just magically reappears in large quantities everywhere with no mention of a reprint, so hopefully that is the case this time.

Was hoping for a deal on Spiderman 3. Looks like that's not happening (I'm not holding out hope for BB).

What's worse is none of them list the CE version for the PS3. I would say that means it's a EB/GS exclusive, but then Amazon has it listed. And I wouldn't care about the CE anyway, but apparently that's the only version that has the New Goblin as a playable character. Pretty crappy limiting in-game features to the CE imo.

That's what I did when CC advertised Knights of the Nine for $7.99. I price matched at Best Buy and used a $5 coupon on it. After sales tax I paid $3.17 for it!:D

I know where I'll be Sunday morning. Of course... I guess there's no guarantee that this will be offered in-store.

THe NEW Circuit City ad for 5/6 - 5/12 has no interest storewide until 2009 on all purchases $299 & UP. The only exclusion is PCs.

Whats stopping somone from buying the two games, getting the gift card, then returning the games for a refund? I mean it sounds like it can't be done but I don't think the store can take the gift card back. the manager may tell you that but in the managery really will only say this because it is a big loophole, but i was curious has anyone tryed that before

In my experience you can do this but I just wouldn't try to do it to often at the same store and if you are going to do this to make sure that the transaction is in cash because it is less hassle then doing it with a credit card or debit card.
Just hope when you go back you don't have a strict manager because in some cases they might ask for the gift card back but I have found that to be rare.

Say you bought two $60 games and get a $20 gift card. They won't give you $120 back if you return them. They will give you $100.

I want to get Spider Man 3 for Wii but I am waiting for reviews. FOr me, this game is a big "test case" to see how the Wii handles traditional 3rd person action games, one of my favorite genres.

But they also won't issue a raincheck, because they say the offer is only good while supplies last--which isn't mentioned anywhere in the ad. It was late, so I really couldn't stick around and argue. I figured I'd buy it on-line, and get the free game that way. Well, CC's website says I can get the free game, but SM3 is still "coming soon" and not available for purchase.

Anyone want to place bets that by the time SM3 is available on-line, the free game bonus will be over?

That sucks. Just wait until Sunday when you can get a free $10 GC from them.

I found it funny that CC has the Xbox version stickered at $16.96 when it is a 'Best Of' PH game that sells for $10.
