You wouldn't be nearly as annoying with your trolling if you were actually clever about it.

I'm assuming you were indeed born in 1985, so it's not like you're a little kid.
You can be creative. C'mon, give it a try.

The demo has like 4 stages with online leaderboards.

I'm pretty sure I can get top ten on one of them when I get home.

Holy mother of god, the Euro store takes forever to download from. I've been downloading the demo for the past 2 hours and it's just crossed the 50% mark.

WOW.. that is a harsh review.. I bet that deflates many who were looking to grab this title. I know my son will be unhappy if I do not purchase this one so I will be getting it. Hope it is more fun than they thought.

Since I was very curious about Super Rub-a-Dub, I created a U.K. PSN account just to download it. Despite the horrid IGN review, I thought the video looked a little interesting.

The game is completely controlled by the SIXAXIS. Move the SIXAXIS in different directions causes the tub of water to tilt in different directions, moving the duck around. Lifting the controller up causes the duck to jump. Basically, the goal in a level is to collect as many of the ducts as possible, then take them to the drain where they enter (somewhat similar to little lemmings going into the exit, or little robots that follow Clank). To make things difficult, there will be sharks in the water who want to eat the ducks. To get the sharks out of the way, you shake the tub (basically just have the duck jump), causing the sharks to fall off. Occasionally, you may play a tube which has no sides, making it easy to fall off and losing ducks. At the end of the level (when all ducks left are in the drain), your time calculates by how many ducks you have (if you didn't get all, the time goes up), and are awarded a medal. From what I hear, the game has over 60 stages.

The game may seem simple, but it definitely provides a little challenge. Most may consider this game gimmicky or childish, but I think its kind of cool. If the U.S. PS Store ever gets this, I'll definitely buy it. I feel its a very unique PSN game you probably wouldn't see on another other platform.

I didn't try the game on an HDTV to see the graphics, but I will the next time I go home.

I think the IGN review is terrible. I'd give the game a high 6 or low 7. The game isn't for everyone, since some will enjoy it, some will find it boring. Remember, IGN gave God Hand a 3,0, yet people liked it.

I was expecting something youd find online on your computer, not like a next gen game to compete with Gears of war.

Sony OBVIOUSLY put this out there to sell as many systems as it could before Halo 3 comes out.

I feel like every time a game loses exclusivity or is bad someone has to say that.

"DMC4 was the SOLE reason for me to purchase a PS3 now I dont have to!!!"

Yea, I doubt that.

it's ah...not that bad lol
People who get frustrated easily probably wouldn't like this game. It doesn't take a whole lot to move the ducks around. You don't have to thrash the controller around, just a slight tilt will do since the tubs themselves don't tilt very much, and the jumping is pretty painless to perform too. All that's left is getting the hang of maneuvering the duck around and making sure it doesn't jump too far lol

I've sent many a baby rubber ducky to its death by jumping a little too far

Finally tried this out tonight. I don't think it's 2.9 bad, but it's not great either. The controls are kind of finicky, and it just doesn't seem all that fun. I won't be buying it.

I finally tried the demo last night. I think 2.9 is ridiculous. I thought is was pretty fun. I definitely felt like doing more after the 5 demo levels. The wife grabbed teh sixaxis from me, and did the 5 levels too. First time she has picked up a controller since I bought the PS3. My only complaint is that the tilt-sensing is pretty touchy.

It is $10 here (in canada) to get all 60 levels. I would have rather it been $5 and had 30 levels, as I don't see me playing all 60.

Gamesharing sounds like a PITA, so I probably won't bother...

I agree. I think that the score is incredibly low. I had a chance to play through the first 5 levels tonight and while it isn't the best game in the world, it's not even close to the score IGN gave it.

The score is beyond low, I downloaded and have been playing..

1. The graphics are good, beautiful water and the most adorable duckies in a game ever

2. The gameplay is fun, I love the sixaxis controls, it truly feels like it is moving in 360 degrees of motion, I was surprised when I pushed my controller up and the duck jumped,

3. It starts out easy but it is a challenge, getting gold on each stage is very fun, bringing your time down as low as posisible is a good challenge.

4. I think the critics are too harsh, looking at these downloadable games like full fledged blu-ray disc titles. They need to review like they review portable games, Live Arcade games, and mobile phone games, they need to say "Hey, this is a $6 six minute download" and look at it for what it is. As a $50 release game, Wii Sports would have never scored at high: just like at Wii Play, even with a free Wii Remote, it didn't score as high as Sports

Of course that is an IGN review that you're talking about.

I'm shocked that they didn't have the line, "If you like games about Rubber Ducks, you'll love Super Rub-A-Dub."

Of course that was probably the line that they used at the end of their preview for the game.

This is much better than a "2.9" from IGN.

Can anyone tell me how to get past the 4th demo level, where there are 2 pools, seperated by a huge gap? I tried to "jump" it, but kept falling through.

So just tilt heavily to the right, then the left? Every single time the duck falls off. I'm guessing there is no "jump" button?
