So, I have been trying to play Marvel Ultimate Alliance with my son, and he is still having some trouble with the whole co-op stategy thing. What usually happens is I take Invisible Woman, armed with my glitched Loki's Gift and he switches between the other three characters (usually some combo of Iron Man, Thor, Cap, Spider-man or wolverine). If it's a flying character then he's gone - flying up into a corner to avoid a fight, usually leaving me trapped in the opposite corner being nailed by some unseen enemy.

Or in the thick of battle, he wants to change costumes, because you gotta look your best, I guess. Or we argue about which way to go.

Overall, it's a lot like playing on Live, except for he hasn't called me a pussy or a $$$$er...yet.

So I graduate in Fall '08, and I have a big decision to make while I'm in grad school. Live at home, or live with my brother in a 3 bedroom apartment for 550 a month (which includes utilities).

No offense to your parents but Christianity along with many religions don't ever translate to children to well. No matter how good your childhood is, your always going to revolt against your parents. You'll always end up doing everything your parents hate. See your parents say she's sinning. But she's not sinning because she more then likely doesn't believe what your parents believe.

I'm not a religious person at all. Not because my parents are which they really aren't but for other reasons.

Anyway the biggest problem with religion is parents put their faith into it. A child goes up through the normal trials of a child going into a teenager. During that time they feel like they're living a shitty life. So they don't understand, why there god isn't helping them. Plus its harder for teens to follow some all seeing god, that they never see.

I've never been religious because there's to much evil in this world for there to be a higher power. Plus if you look back through history man has always looked for something bigger them himself. The native americans praying to corn gods, the wind, or the mother earth for example. Point being we don't know. I rather live by the law of the jungle/land which has worked for thousands of years.

roma, grape, beefsteak

roma are oval shaped and about the size of a kiwifruit. they've got more meat than juice so they're great for slicing since they don't squish. grape are the size of grapes and imo>cherry tomatos because cherry tomatos squirt when bite them and grape tomatos are slightly larger so you can slice them in half. beefsteak are big, fat juicy tomatos and are what a lot of people think of when they think "tomato". grape tomatos grow quickly and you can have numerous, almost continuous crops all summer into the early fall. grape tomatos since they're slightly bigger take a little longer. beefsteaks take a while to mature, but being you've got a fence in your back yard, you dont need to worry about deer eating them, though you might want to put some screen around the plants because bunnies and chipmunks will also take little nibbles out of the large beefsteaks and ruin them for you.

at one point, my mom had roma plants in pots on her patio. there was a chipmunk that made a home in the dirt in the pot of the plant and the roma tomatos were small enough for him to get off the vine but not small enough for him to get into his home, so we'd find half eaten roma's stuck in the chipmunk hole. it infuriated my mom because he'd always eat them like the day before they were ripe enough to pick.

I'm seeing the same thing here with Panzer Dragoon Orta and JSRF. They don't have complete copies of those games that any stores near me. I really should have just expected eventual BC for those games and bought them a few months ago.

i had to take lionhart to the urgent care center for his eye. the swelling just kept getting worse and worse, even with benadryl and motrin. the doctor said he's only got a small bacteria on his eyelid, but because the skin is so thin and stretchy, it just blimped up. he got an antibiotic and is telling everyone i took a cheap shot while he was sleeping.

Dumped 12 shitty movies I've had for a few years (most cost $2 - $3), along with a $5 credit, and got free copies of Smokin Aces, Spider-Man 2.1, and Venture Bros Season 2.

I think the rest of the 40 or so DVD's I wanted to dump on Ebay are going straight to Moviestop now... I'll get free new releases up until the end of June when I leave.

Best part is, they give $14 - $16 credit for brand new movies the week they release if they are popular.

Just found out the new Fantastic Four Extended Edition coming out has 20 minutes of deleted footage AND a movie ticket to see the new one... I'll definitely dump my old copy + 3 shit movies to get it.

I didn't think Smokin' Aces was all that great. Not bad movie - fun to watch once definitely. Just not worth it for multiple views.

Movies left to watch from latest rental: Sleeper (Woody Allen physical comedy movie), 2001, and Last King of Scotland.

I really, really gotta figure out a way to burn My Sassy Girl to a DVD that can run on Region 1 with the subtitles in tact. If anyone knows a way, please let me know. I know my gf will love the movie but there's no way she's going to watch it on my LCD screen.
