Ymmv Ps2 $99.99 @ Fye

Hi everyone! Long time CAGer, first time poster.

Not sure if this deal has been posted yet or if it is even a "deal" but in Fairborn, OH the FYE in the Fairfield Commons Mall has PS2 units for $99.99. Not sure if there are any stipulations as I was in too much of a hurry to check.

Once again, if this is a deal, YMMV.

It's a rebate deal and well...the FYE chain was a total pita when I tried filling out and sending in ALL of the paperwork to get my rebate on file.

When I got the verification postcard for my rebate, I noticed it had switched from a $30 PS2 rebate to a $3 CD rebate. WTF!!!!

I finally had to have a DM called and they gave me the rebate at the local store I got the PS2 at.

IMO, the $30 rebate is quite the hassle and if you're thinking of buying a PS2 slim(specially the silver 'limited edition, which has since gone reg edition imo), save your money.

My one friends nieces have a silver slim and it sometimes takes 2-3 times to even start SPINNING a disc, let alone reading it.
