I just traded this in as part of the Extra 50% deal at EB/GS so I'm not picking it up again until it's at least sub-$30. It's a rather short game and the multiplayer isn't very good either. Easily beaten on a rental. Hell, the last half of the game is almost completely spent in mechs (not my thing) and the story is just flat out bad. The packaging for the CE was pretty nice but there is nothing in it to justify the extra money IMO. There is an artbook and a supplements disc, the latter of which I admittedly never watched.

I completely agree. Got rid of my CE version, too. The single player is pretty good but as has been covered well by others, the last level SUCKS. I was so disgusted with it that I never bothered to finish it.

The CE doesn't really have anything worth having--art book, CD of soundtrack, desktops, meh. I recommend getting the CE or regular version in the buy 2 get 1 free sale going on at EB/GS starting on the 29th. Maybe you can get another title for the same money, you know? With an Edge card, that will be 2x360 games for 49.50. Not half bad. Thinking about getting Crackdown and sth else...

Having rented this game from gamesnflix I thought it was kinda weaksauce.

The single player is entirely too short. I would have enjoyed the single player if it was short and consistently awesome like GoW, but unfortunately the single player experience varies from "boring" to "pretty awesome." Visuals were nice and the multiplayer was fun for a week or so but I kinda got bored with it. Perhaps it was just not my type of game but seeing as how i recently bought my 360 and just beat GoW, Lost Planet was somewhat of a dissapointment.

If you can get into the multiplayer 40 bucks is worth it, but 40 bucks for just the single player I could not recommend to anyone.

I do believe Gamecrazy differentiates the CE and regular, as think I saw the CE sell for $63.99 there (or $53.99? I don't remember...) So if you're just looking to get more for straight trade-in value, you might have better luck getting more credit at GC.
