Looking for a nice 2.1 setup for my computer. Looking to spend less then 50 dollars shipped, and I would like the subwoofer to be decently loud.

The logitech X-230 isn't too shabby. I'm using them for about 2-3 years now and they still work great. They look nice and the bass is pretty amazing.

Are these better than the Logitech Z4 system?

Hmmm...not sure. I think the Z4 system would be better than the X-230. I myself have never tried the Z4.

The X-230 has 32 watts of output power and the Z4 has 40 watts of output power. There is a 2.5 watt difference in the speakers and a 3 watt difference in the subwoofer.

But the X-230 is definetly cheaper than the Z4 and the 8 watt difference is probably not noticeable if you are not a audiophile
