im trying to setup my ps3 wireless and i heard it has it built in but i cant seem to get it to work. i have the 60 gig with a linksys wireless router and here are some questions

if it has wireless built in what is the farthest distance i can be from it and still connect

If it does not have it built in what do i need

what do i need to do to set it up?

60gb has it built in, you sure you have the wep key and everything right when you go to network setup?

When I tried to get my PS3 on-line (60 gig premium), it kept saying that the ethernet cable wasn't plugged in. Why would it ask for that if it has built in Wi-Fi? Am I just totally misunderstanding something here, or is there a problem with the system?

you have to go into the settings and change network settings to wireless to turn it on

Excellent. I will try that tonight (right after the Sabres game). Thanks amicus.

you also configure the WEP settings and select the correct host there.
