I am selling some things over craigslist (which i've never used before) and I got an email from this guy asking if what I had was still for sell I told him yes and he sent me this:
Hello,
Kindly let me know if the above item are still available for sale,Hope
to hear from you soon.ThanksThanks for the prompt response and i will
love to make an instant
purchase i will be posting a certified check to cover the cost of the
goods while you hold on my behalf. Once you have this, my mover will
come pickup at you place.I will be needing the following information
to issue out the payment . . .
1.Name to be on the check
2.Home address
3.Telephone
** Pls not that the payment for the good will be overnight to your
address asap. I have taken a close look at the advert and am
completely satisfied i really need this and will appreciates that you
help save this for me till the payment arrives as it will save me
some extra cost**

I don't really think I should give this guy my Home Address and I don't really want to take check (do banks even issue certified checks anymore?). Anyways, just let me know what you think. Thanks again guys.

if you are selling something large, an arcade cab for instance, you will have to give out your address anyways, but yeah this dude sounds shady so avoid

Man even with no mention of Nigeria, the way the grammar was put together just reeks of it. Avoid at all costs.

Hmmm... I wonder if a Nigerian scammer ever sold something on eBay only to be Nigerian scammed himself. Hilarity would ensue.
