Motorstorm 'Extra' Footage [Mobile/Archive]

Nine times out of ten bonus material on games bore me. Developer interviews, concept art and the like most go unexamined. I haven't even looked at the Halo 2 bonus disk.

On a whim, I browsed through the extra tab in Motostorm, the last oprion is an arial video.

WOW!

Now, that's what HI-Def is for! You are treated to an overhead flyby of the real locations that were inspirations for the game. Some of these are beautiful; IMAX-quality stuff. I recoommend everyone check this out.

BTW: Does anyone notice a slight 1/2 second delay every thirty seconds or so, while watching this video? It's almost like the PS3 is catching up on all the data.

Hehe, I'll take a look at it when I get the game. I probably would have skipped it.

Actually, I've had the game for about a month. I usually never look at the extras. Real life>>>PS3 Graphics

Have you looked at it?

They actually played the extras on HD TV and I watched them. Really impressive. Can't want to see this kind of technology being used in future games.

Yea... if you loved those shots... you are going to be gaga over Planet Earth. It features the same camera used to take those shots but in intense areas that have never been seen before.

Also, my favorite part was when they showed the Hyena Pack hunting down a herd of gazelles from an ariel view. It was sweet.
