Saint's Row is $29.99 at the Circuit City website so it's probably the same in stores. This isn't advertised in their weekly deals so it might be a standard price drop? I'm not sure. Either way, it's a great game and $30 bones is a great price for it.

Bout time, but I really have no interest in it. Maybe at 20.

Such a fantastic game, especially the physics. If you even remotely like the GTA games, you will LOVE Saint's Row.

This is worth every penny. Don't hesitate on this one if you're on the fence.

It's definitely worth the $30 price tag if you like GTA-style games. I picked this game up about a month or so ago when it was $30 and had free shipping on Amazon. Definitely worth every penny! There is so much to do in the game that it'll keep you busy for a long time.

I just finished it, it was easily worth the $30 if you like GTA style games. They refined many of the gameplay elements in GTA. There were some graphical issues where it seemed like the game couldn't load the graphics fast enough (maybe just my 360), and it would have been nice to have some checkpoints in the missions where you drive halfway across the map just to get to the mission. But still worth $30 IMO.

I was just scouring ebay for this since I just got the 360 and love the demo - at $30 (or hopefully less with BB price match + GGC), I'll definitely snag it. Ironically, CC's site lists the used version as $10 more.

Nah, maybe for $20 but then again, I rather use that $20 and pre-order GTA IV. I can wait until October...

Nice find, I thought that the new price drop at GS/EB meant that I wasn't going to find it for under $40 new for a while...Thanks for proving me wrong. :applause:

I just got an email from xbox.com that says that Saint's Row is turning Platinum hits. So expect to see this price become universal very soon. Also Lego star Wars II will be turning Platinum hits as well.

Nice, I have been wanting to get this one. Really going to hurt the PS3 version sales when the 360 version is $30, and the PS3 version is (presumably) launching at $60, since it's a new game. Sucks to own a PS3 in this case.

I agree with everything you said.

The graphical issues happened for me too, so it's not just your 360. I noticed them when I'd drive onto the highway at a fast speed. It's definitely the game.

And those missions where you had to drive a distance then complete a difficult task would piss me off when I'd fail them. They should've placed a checkpoint whenever you reached the location. I'm stuck on the Los Carnales airport mission and feel like I'll never beat it. :bomb:

I just got the Xbox Flash newsletter - this is a global price drop. It is now a Platinum Hit, along with Lego Star Wars II.

I've been hoping to see a price drop on this game for a while, even though I'm not a 360 owner quite yet. My plan is to get a 360 sometime between now and October, and this will be one of the first games I play on it. I guess since it's becoming a Platinum Hit, there's no need to rush out and pick it up now. I'll hold out a while longer to see if it can be had cheaper; if not, I'll just pick it up when I buy the system.

out of the 30+ games i've played, this one is easily top five material. i've 100% completed the game, and i still have fun with it.

yeah, i played the demo and the vertical tearing was kinda bad. however, the vertical tearing in perfect dark zero was much worse.. i can still deal with vertical tearing but it degrades the graphics a lot and it really tends to piss me off.

Don't worry about Condemned as a PH- you can get it for less than $20 at GameCrazy.

I rented both games and thought they were great. At this price, I'll buy them both and finish them.

Is there an online component to this game?

I'd say that I'm too lazy to look it up, but I have a reason:

If there is an online coop or competitive, what're your opinions of it? And if there isn't online, does it hinder the game at all?

Yes there is online. There is co op, Deathmatch, Team deathmatch, And there are some exclusive online modes, Wich are Protect Tha Pimp (That is how it's spelled, In PTP you escort tha pimp to the exit or you kill all of the hitmen, Or if you are a hitman, You kill the pimp) Blinged Out Ride (In wich you get money to get your car to level 4 then you take it to a show off area and protect it from being blown up) And there is Big Ass Chains, Wich is a deathmatch, Except that you have to take the chains that people drop to a drop off point to get cash. The person/team with the most cash wins.

Agreed. If anyone even thought of buying, say, STAR TREK or SUPERMAN RETURNS at $20 during the Amazon DOTD's, thinking of spending another $10 on a game that's ACTUALLY GOOD is a no-brainer :)
