Tempting, but I think I'll wait until there's actually some games to play: Wii Sports just isn't worth $250, I already played through Zelda on GC, and WarioWare can be had on pretty much every other Nintendo platform.
The only thing tempting me is Super Paper Mario, but it's not worth $250.
I really hope the 3rd parties get their heads out of their a$$es and start making decent Wii games.

More games are coming out, I'm just waiting for them to be readily available to buy in stores without me having to wake up an hour early just to stand in a line and hope to get one.

it seem to be out of stock. when you click on link it shows in stock, but when you proceed to checkout, they automaticly yank the item out of your cart and display the out of stock sign

Yeah, I had the same thoughts. I have the money to get one but then I think...What do I even want to play on the Wii?

I was holding out on Wii as well b/c like everyone else, I really didn't see what there is to play on the system. Plus, the fact that I have only seen one Wii in retail stores made my decision easier. However, a month ago, I was in a local used music/movies/games store and someone had just brought one in. The store was selling it for $199, so I just couldn't resist. The only thing I didn't get was the box, but everything was in excellent/like new condition. So far, I really enjoy the system. I love Wii sports for the fact that I can just pick it up and play in 5 minute spurts. I also love Paper Mario.
My favorite thing about the Wii so far though is the interface, and the virtual console. While there might not be alot to play right now, I can say the system has exceeded my expectations so far. I think its definitely worth owning if you have a chance to get one. I'm sure as developers get more creative with the control scheme, we will see much better games in the future.
