They were expecting Wiis to sell out when the release date came they just weren't expecting them to be sold out for this long, because they were expecting the PS3 to take up alot of the sales, which it hasn't because of all of its problems. I doubt the Elite will sell out because people already have a Xbox 360, and aren't going to shell out more money just for a couple different things. It's just Microsoft's way of selling more consoles thats all.

Buying it from Amazon is tempting, but the 360's reliability (rather the lack thereof) scares me.

Since the stores only reciving like 4 this sunday, It better safe then sorry. The reason we are worried is because of the quanity that microsoft is releasing of the elite.

Thanks for this, also the Elite uses less power consumption then the regular 360, so less chanse of reliabilitie.

And the DS lite is the same as the regular DS, yet it sold out alot of places even though they had HIGH quanity(Stores has over 70+ in stock)


You probaly forgot the quanity of them releasing the elite.

Just because ur not geting an elite, does not mean no one else is. It has nothing of it being sold out because there gonna be like a huge line like the wii.

But with the low quanity of Elite microsoft is sending to the stores, then it will sold out quick. When I called my ebgames they said they only reciving 4-5 Elite, which is barely any.
And that same ebgames told me that over 28 people called about the elite(Like if they accepting pre-order, what time the store open) and that only one store.



The way you sound, is like no one is going to buy an elite.


Yes the line won't be as big as the wii, but with the low quanity of elite microsoft is sending to the store, it going to be harder then geting a wii(Because at least store recive over 100+ wii).

And with all the Red light of death of the Original 360, I'm pretty sure alot of those people will just wait for the elite and alot of people who did not get a 360 yet waited for an elite.

And I also know alot of people already who geting an elite at launch.

I'm not trying to sound disrespectful or anything(Iapologize if I am).

There no way you will know how many people will get the elite, there no way u know how many they will get in stock unless u call them. But there no way you could base it on that logic that your using. Because even though ur not geting a elite and there people out there who has a 360, there are alot of people who don't

I still know alot of people who are geting it including more then half of those already have a 360(Most of those did get the 3 red light of death and there 360 are breaking down).

This make no difference as geting a DS Lite or Slim ps2(Which both sold out during launch and Both had very HIGH quanity in stores).

So with the elite only having 4-5 in stock this sunday, i'm going to play it safe and pre-order it.

Not the truth whomever says that it will be more reliable. IT has all the same internal cooling sensors and uses the same chipset. They were supposed to release it with one that would have a lower running temperature which would make it more reliable but that probably will not happen till later summer or fall, hence there is no reason to own this unless you owna 1080p TV.
