I get a MO in the mail today for $10.22.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6909198395&ssPageName= STRK:MESO:IT

Look at the freaking auction. $2.50 for FIRST CLASS SHIPPING WITH DC. It's not like I'm robbing the person. I sent them a nice email about it, I hope they just aren't going to be retarded about it like most people on eBay are. Oh well.

Well, "NOTE: The item will be shipped using 1st class with delivery confirmation instead of media media with delivery confirmation at NO ADDED COST!", is somewhat open to interpretation. While I think what you meant was clear, some people might not.

Ehh, it's pretty ambiguous. I can see why there was a confusion.

I don't think there was any confusion, the person is just using that as a scapegoat. Look at his feedback, two negatives with "poor communication". Seems like he may of tried pulling this or something similar on others.

Well I'm not gonna fight them about it, if they're gonna be an ass about it, I'll just ship them it without the $2.50. It's only $2.50, but this is the second time in a week I've had big eBay problems.

They may be taking advantage of you knowing that you have little feedback and a negative feedback can greatly affect the confidence in which people will bid on your merchandise.

Yeah, but $2.50 isn't much to me so if they make a fit about it, it's not worth a negative feedback. Still no reply yet but I'll let you know what happens.

Man, Dead of Knight how come you always get stuck with the ebay deadbeats?

I decided to email them again and tell them to forget about the $2.50. It's a small price to pay for assuring that I don't get a negative. If they were really a decent person, they would pay the $2.50, but I doubt that will happen.

just ship it media mail instead. still get delivery confirmation, but i mean, why pay extra for first class if he's not paying for it?

Never had it happen to me personally but happens to a few friends of mine very frequently oddly enough, guess it is a growing scam. Personally I won't ship a thing without the added shipping cost but then my feedback is over 200 so i'm not really worried about negatives.

Looks clear to me....

I would take the negative. Listen he paid for the item...fine it's his. And when he pays for shipping you will send it..seems simple. I would take the negative on it if it has to come to that. Don't get stiffed.

Mr. Defender has replied and all is well with the world.

I'm not one to care for $2.50 for a one time thing. The first couple posters were right in that it wasn't clear for someone who does not have half a brain. I'll just make sure something like that doesn't happen again, and if someone does try to dick me out of shipping next time, it won't be any of my fault.

You really need to accecpt paypal.

I would but my parents bitch about giving Paypal the checking account numbers. Unless there is a way to do it with a credit card I can't accept it.

Just ship it Media Mail as stated above but with no DC and thats it. You'll only be out $1.25 and he will be waiting 2-4 weeks to get his package, LOL

Same thing here eBay has really screwed me over lately. And you cannot win. I will go into details later.

The buyer has 47 feedback which is reasonable. Member since: Mar-09-00

Which means he should know better and is just getting over on you. Any reasonable person would say.."oh you have made an error in intepreting my auction. Please send an additional $2.50 for shipping otherwise I can't ship the item to you...I will gladly send your payment back if you feel you no longer want the items"

It's nice and to the point.
