From what I've seen, that Robin chick, all she does is scare ppl by catching nearby objects on fire. I mean she hasn't ever hit anyone with her fire, she just burns building and wastes more tax payers dollars.

Nevermind, I just saw her toast some guy. Then, let's just make this thread a feedback thread for Witch Hunter Robin. Tell me what you think of it.

I don't like it. I have seen the first couple episodes and it is completely boring. They spend more time in that stupid caffe drinking coffee than hunting witches.

Oh, and I believe male version of a witch is called a warlock. The way they call males "witches" is REALLY lame.

I like the show so far really.....One reason as to why she can't set everyone one ablaze is they are not supposed to kill the withces they hunt so if you go aroun d setting everyone of them one fire you'd probably kill one or two. Overall, I think the show is good....the characters are great and its a new and different concept from Hajime Yatate (the guy that created Cowboy Bebop). The only thing I don't like is how they use the same shot a lot in different parts of the show. I know it's a common technique in most animated shows to save time and money, but to me it always cheapens the look the of the show.

Actually, to correct you. Male witches are called witches. Warlocks are witches that have betrayed their coven and are outcasts.

of the couple of episodes I've seen a while back it just seems like the so called "witches" are more like peope with psychokinetic powers... but then occasionally they do something that seems to follow a standard.

it's a nice quiet show... I think if you liked GiTS:stand alone complex you'd like this too even though it's not exactly a hi-tech story or on as grand a scale.

i don't really like the show, but i'll watch it for the sake just watching [adult swim]. it is boring..not to put down the show but, can someone list the good factors of the show?
anyways, i wish they could've taken out inuyasha instead of lupin the 3rd.

I wish they would move lupin to 12:00 and stick Inuyasha right behind it.

also which hunter robin had me bored within the first 15 minutes.

I wish ADULT swim would actually put good UNCUT anime on.

It goes without saying how stupid it is to call a show ADULT swim then edit the hell out of every anime you put on there.

Originally they used to show "unedited" versions of DBZ during their "midnight run" block which later eveloved into Adult Swim...cant figure how how they could NOT show unedited versions....

Yeah I remember the midnite run with uncut DBZ and Gundam shows, I can't remember exactly but I think even those were edited for language....unfortunately it's not that they can't show uncut it just that they won't, because they are legally allowed to at that time I think. My guess is Cartoon Network doesn't want a TV-MA rating because they think it would make them look bad or something, I dunno.

FYI: Hajime Yatate isn't any one person, it's a sort of catch-all credit for when more than one person at Sunrise Studios work together on a project.

Most of them were, but some they did change to reflect on the original meaning. Like in Big O, Roger Smith used to say "Cast in the name of Good" while in Adult Swim he actually said "Cast in the name of God".

The biggest thing that surprised me wasn't WHR but defender...defending...scrubking. Aren't you guys mortal enemies?

I would have to be threatened by Scrubking to officially label him an enemy. He is nothing to me...mwua hahahhhahhahhaha! He is not a threat...he is an Ant to my Elephant!

On WHR, I must say I don't like a few aspects of it (could it plod forward any slower?) but something about it is compelling me to keep watching. I just can't see this being a 20+ episode series with this pacing. I'm all for more cerebral series but it's gotta pick up at some point.

On a related note: the music Adult Swim chose for the intro card is like beef on ass. I just wish they'd tell me what cd I can find it on.

Yeah, I thought it was gonna be awesome, but it's just mediocre, if they could pick up the pace on the show, then it would be atleast alright.
