First Master's handed out for Video Game Development

Pretty soon game developer's can be can get PHDs and will be doctor's of gaming. You guys think having a master's in Video Game Development will help this industry or getting a job?

It will help people get a job, but not much. While the degree helps, it's only for getting your foot in the door. It's your demo reel and flatbook that will get you that job.

As for helping the industry, most definatly. It shows how the industry is maturing and settling into being a full-fledged industry.
