So I'm finding it increasingly difficult to manage my MP3 collection. While I try to keep all of my music in the same location (an external Hard Drive) I find that transferring songs to and from my laptop ends up screwing with the organization. As my collection grows or is updated (i.e. Filenames changed, Album Art downloaded, etc) I'm running into trouble remembering which version of the music are the most recent.
Until now, I've been using Mediamonkey to provide most of my management tools however I find this program to be a bit lacking in structure. It also doesn't seem to know how to handle collections that are stored in multiple locations. Does anyone know of an alternate program that I could use to manage my MP3s? I'd prefer to have one with multiple location management abilities but anything would suffice at this point. (I would use iTunes if it weren't for that godamned DRM!)
