ok i got my vanguard bandits this morning SEALED......i told the guy i didnt want to go through with the deal a week or 2 ago........i will not pay for this crap since it has a MASSIVE crack in the back of the case and he said it was sealed/mint........so should i just get it marked as rejected and sent back? or what?

Can't you just put it in a different case?
As long as the game and disc and manual and everything is fine and new, then what's the problem? Cases can crack even when they are new and sealed. It's happened to me when I go buy a new game at EBworld or GameStop or whever it was bought.

I think if yesterday's saga tought us anything (The Crushed GBA Box Wars), it's that you should try settling this over PM before opening the floodgates on the forum.
Personally, if it's supposed to be mint/sealed and it comes less than mint, he should take it back, paying for shipping. I'm a little unclear as to why he sent it if you didn't want the deal to happen, but c'est la vie.

Oh, I was under the impression you were going to play it, not just keep it as a collectable.
Sorry, then. ^_^"

You can still seal it up as long as you didn't totally demolish the packaging.

If this guy is being non-communicative, I'd say the best approach is to leave a PM telling him that you're shipping it back and then just return to sender.

If the crack isn't deep enough it won't do anything to the game, get over it.

actually, you fucking newb, i got it to resell later on......a crack in it will do me no good and probably negative neutral feedback

You wouldn't get negative/neutral feedback if you stated that the case was cracked.

but that would decrese from the amount of money i would get from collectors who want mint sealed games and would pay well for them.....meaning i would make little profit

I recently sold a rare sealed PS1 title for $100 with a good sized diagonal crack in the lower left corner of the front panel. I stated the condition clearly in the auction and there was no problem.

Regardless of whether or not someone else can resell a cracked game, the point is that the n00b shouldn't have been shooting his mouth off in a situation he clearly didn't understand.

Well you could always hang on to it and not send out your trade items. He'll get in touch with you at some point. Pissed off yest but at least you'll get his attention. It's not your fault that he disappeared.

dude you havent even given him your stuff yet???
Forget calling anybody a newbie, it doesnt matter about how many posts they have, you are complaining like you lost something it doesnt take a million posts to realize there is no reason to be complaining about this deal. You got a free game why are you whining??? If he contacts you then tell him youll send the game back, what youll be out about 2 dollars, a bum makes that in 10 minutes. I would understand if you sent your items already but geez man get a grip, and calm down.

True, but perhaps in this instance we can give PDS a little benefit of the doubt. He's posted a lot more and he's pretty well known kn the Trading forum (and has a decent amount of positive feedback).
Bah, the whole point is moot anyway. How about people, n00b and vets, not shoot off their mouths? 8)
