There's a 37 inch Philips LCD HD tv at target for 749.99 down from 1499.99.
I don't know the first thing about hd or lcd tvs. Also the box seemed pretty sealed.

I'm fairly certain it's that.
So should I rush out first thing in the morning to grab it?
Are there any coupons or anything i could use?
Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't buy it. It's a Philips.

That tv seems to have just an average rating.

I love my Samsung LCD. Samsung is just as good as Sony and cheaper too.

You could do alot worse for that size at that price. Philips's LCDs aren't the highest rated, but they aren't exactly cheap garbage either (though some of the exlusive features I've found are kinda useless, like ambilight). Typically they have some off color reproduction, but that's somehting that not everyone notices and you can tinker with it. If it's new in box (i.e. not a return, former display, or refurb) I say jump on it at that price, just make sure to check the return policy and see if you can return it if it doesn't work out/you don't like it.

Figured I'd let everyone now I was at Target yesterday and they had a 32 in LCD TV for $400 on Clearance, normally $800. I already bought a smaller Samsung LCD TV so I didn't really look at the brand or anything but, you may want to check your local Target it seem like their doing a lot of clearance sales right now in their electronics department.

750 for that size is no longer that cheap, if you're still looking for alternatives, check out fatwallet

Actually for a name brand 37" TV, that's pretty inexpensive. Even going for some off brand (of which the only I'd have any faith in are WH or Vizio, Olevia too but they have a true lack of inputs), you may save all of $50-75 on it even with deals from fatwallet.

Yes, for a name brand TV it's a good price. But I honestly don't consider Philips a good brand. Every single Philips product I've had has had problems though granted, I never had a Philips TV.
I got my Sharp Aquos for ~$790 so it's not that hard to get a great TV for around $750.
