i went to bed sorta late last night (5 am cali time) and i was already tired from the past few days of no good sleep and when i found myself going to bed... i see my little cousin whose about 10 still awake.. my brother whose a bit older was already knockout. ok maybe i've been a little late behind the generations but does anyone else see kids up that late?

i would think 3 am tops for a little kid to stay up.. but 5 am?!.. he didnt even nap and yet he still woke up earlier than me.. i know it's cause he's younger he has this energy thing but damn

When I was about six years old, I stayed up two days straight going to daycare during the day, coming home playing outside a bit, playing video games, watching late-night wrestling and Jack Van Impe.

Watching Impe scared me so damn much that I couldn't sleep. I literally thought the world was going to end.

My daughters wake me up all the time. My sons sleep good now though.

That's him and his crazy wife, Roxella. Basically, he's this dude who has a tv show and he shows all these reasons on why he thinks the world is going to end tomorrow and tries to back them up with Biblical scriptures. Some of them are actually kinda freaky, but this guy has basically been saying the same thing for more than 30 years.

But to a six-year-old kid, he is scarier than Freddy and Jason.

When I was little I would try to stay up late. But I would be knocked out by 10pm. I'm still the same way ;)

i think im behind the generations.. and i thought kids would be good little boys and girls and sleep at 8 *looks at some little kids* more like devil children who spend countless hrs laughing and gaming.. not that i dont do that also.. =X

A child that age has no business being up that late. Unless the child is lying in bed suffering from insomnia, they simply have no reason to be up. I blame the parents.

Come on, you've never heard the expression 'night owl'?

Anyhoo, I used to stay up really late back when I was out of school. I've stayed up plenty of nights until 5AM. Can't do that anymore since I have to be up about 5:30AM these days.

I was (to a extent, still am) like that. Just couldn't go to bed till like 3 or 4 in the morning. I made up for the lost hours by sleeping in class. Guess that's why I've always been the really smart/dumb kid :)

Oh, I've heard it before, but it's just one of those sayings that you don't hear enough of, and thus I'm gonna bring it back. Down with insomniacs, up with Night Owls.
