I've heard the new single "Heart-Shaped Glasses", and I really don't care for it. I guess the new cd is going to be called "Heart-Shaped Glasses (When the Heart Guides the Hand)". I only hope the rest of the album is better than this garbage.

The albums since then have been decent but it seems like he really only hits on all cylinders when he's grabbing headlines and getting picketed. Still, it'll probably be on sale for like 9.99 for the first week, I'll give it a listen.

he's pretty much leaving the whole rock/metal feel behind in this album, though for the first time, there are solos.

I like Manson's previous albums but the last one was too emo for me. I don't have a lot of faith in this new one coming out. I will try to sample it online before I consider buying it.

This is one of my favorite bands, and I can honestly say I'm going to hate this new cd. From what I've heard so far, the entire cd is slow, sad rock, which sucks. Apparently he's completely given up the loud stuff. I really miss the Antichrist Superstar days; easily his best album.

Yeah, that video and that song blows. He used to be entertaining, now he's just grasping at straws IMO.

Seeing Manson in the throes of passion is truly :puke: The song wasn't much better either. I haven't heard anything past Holywood and it doesn't look like I missed much.

I don't expect much since the good musicians left/got kicked out by Manson. His last album's music was pretty blah and his lyrics were really stupid.

Mechanical Animals is my favorite album. I just watched the video and it started sounding like it would be similar to Mechanical Animals style. But the new song lacks anything special. He has lost the great musicians that made Marilyn Manson a great band.
